Since spring 2009 we offer guided tours in English. The interest in guided tours to Nordic countries in English has increased with the number of recreational vehicles and follows the trends in Germany and Europe. The popularity of Motor-homes increases in Europe with increased leisure time, prosperous pensioners and the greener way of travel. More and more people want to travel and experience instead of staying in one place. We've travelled through all of our routes, talked with local people and tourist agencies, searched with Google the websites and read travel stories to find even the most hidden gems along the way! NordicDetours provides an elaborate itinerary, a detailed information and a good map. Our travel management speaks the local languages: Swedish, Finnish, German, English, French and Spanish! All meeting sites and overnight stays have GPS coordinates in all documentation. Each morning the daily meeting gives details of the current route, events & attractions.	We use only the best stops and camping sites existing along our routes, electricity is always included when available. Local cuisine is an important part of travel experience. Our ambition is to offer the best of both worlds; organized tours with amazing experiences, but with a large element of individual freedom. To make the driving as pleasant and safe as possible, we take a maximum of 12 vehicles per trip. We do not drive in convoys, but in small groups, individually or together with the travel management with them, who wish to do so. We meet at the sights, guidance-points and for the nights. NordicDetours informs about the local need e.g. electrical adapters, gas-accessories, other accessories & eventual documents needed. If necessary, we help You with the formal documents, for example visa-application and acquisition. Cost for Russian entry visa is not included in the price of the trip to Southern Finland and Russia.
