In late June the midnight sun generously spread it’s warmth on northern Scandinavia.

This is an enchanting tour through spectacular Swedish Landscapes all the way up to the midnight sun with its ethnic nomadic Sapmi-people still living in harmony with the nature together with their precious herds of reindeers.

We gather in the Stockholm, one of the worlds most beautiful capitals. We go for a guided cruise to the island of Birka that until the 800th century was the capital for the Scandinavian Vikings.

The tour goes northwest through the regions of Dalarna and Halsingland with their unique wooden architecture. It is also the homeland of the world-famous painters Anders Zorn and Carl Larsson and the traditional Midsummer celebration. For centuries the area was the main provider of Swedish copper.

The Wilderness road just on the border to Lapland offers us a breathtaking journey on virgin land in the Scandinavian mountain region. We wildcamp one night, in total silence, high above the tree level on the bare mountain where only the Midnight sun is our companion.

We spend all other nights on charming lake- or seaside campings with genuine Swedish atmosphere.

From the sapmi region we travel east towards and along the Baltic Sea. Further south we make a relaxing cruise to Finland and the Island of Aland through the archipelago.

The tour ends in Stockholm who literally "stands on water". Here we join an inspiring guided tour in one of the world's most attractive capitals.

In addition to above program there will be optional opportunities such as fishing, walking, canoeing or a visit to the wilderness zoo with Arctic animals in Jarvso.

For maximum enjoyment and safety we have limited the
number of participants to 12 vehicles for each tour.

We do not travel in a convoy. We drive in small groups or individually or together with the tour management depending on your own preferences.

Each morning we gather for daily information about planning, extra sights and other stops for interesting places to see and experience, about guided sightseeing and about the next stop for the night.

The tour is open for booking until two months before
departure.
